Young Kwon is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on investments in broadly syndicated non-investment grade leveraged loans within the industrials, aerospace & defense, transportation & logistics and metals & mining sectors.
Before joining Blue Owl, Young was a Senior Vice President at Alcentra, a global high yield and leverage loan focused asset manager. Prior to that, he was an Associate Portfolio Manager and Senior Research Analyst at Lord Abbett & Co., a $200bn+ mutual fund manager. Young also spent time as a desk and publishing research analyst at Barclays Capital covering high yield debt.
Young received his MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and BA in International Relations from Tufts University.
Vincent LaBarbera is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Compensation, Payroll and Carried Interest Accounting. In his role he focuses on the accounting and operations of Blue Owl’s compensation programs.
Before joining Blue Owl, Vincent was an Executive Director and Corporate Controller at CIFC Asset Management LLC, an alternative credit investment firm based in New York. Prior to that, he held positions at GreenOak Real Estate, Sculptor Capital Management and JPMorgan Chase.
Vincent received a BS in Accounting from the City University of New York, College of Staten Island.
Pak-Seng Lai is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he focuses on spearheading the firm’s expansion of Private Wealth business across Asia Pacific markets.
Before joining Blue Owl, Pak-Seng was Head of Private Markets of Asia Pacific at UBS AG. He has more than 20 years of experience in global private equity investments in US, Europe and Asia. He was Managing Partner of two China private equity funds. Prior to that, he was Head of Asia and Managing Director of HQ Capital, a global alternative investment firm. Prior to HQ Capital, he was Head of Investment Process at Schroder Adveq, a global private equity fund of funds based in Switzerland. Previously, he held positions at Transpac Capital and Singapore Technologies, where he was primarily engaged in private equity investments in Asia. Pak-Seng began his career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
He earned an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA from National University of Singapore. He is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.
Jonathan Lamm is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Chief Financial Officer, Credit. In his role, Jonathan serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of each of Blue Owl Capital Corporation, Blue Owl Technology Finance Corp. and Blue Owl Technology Finance Corp. II, Chief Financial Officer of each of Blue Owl Capital Corporation II and Blue Owl Capital Corporation III and Vice President of each of Blue Owl Credit Income Corp. and Blue Owl Technology Income Corp. Jonathan is a member of the firm's Operating Committee as well as the Credit platform’s Operating and Valuation Committees.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Jonathan served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Goldman Sachs BDC, Inc. (GSBD), a business development company traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Jonathan was responsible for building and overseeing GSBD's finance, treasury, accounting and operations functions from April 2013 through March 2021, including during its initial public offering in March 2015. During his time at Goldman Sachs, Jonathan also served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Goldman Sachs Private Middle Market Credit LLC, Goldman Sachs Private Middle Market Credit II LLC and Goldman Sachs Middle Market Lending Corp. prior to the completion of its merger with GSBD in October 2020. Throughout his twenty-two years at Goldman Sachs, Jonathan held various positions. From 2013 to 2021, Jonathan served as Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at GSAM Credit Alternatives. From 2007 to 2013, Jonathan served as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at GSAM Credit Alternatives. From 2005 to 2007, Jonathan served as Vice President in the Financial Reporting group and, from 1999 to 2005, he served as a Product Controller. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Jonathan worked in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche.
Jonathan graduated from Queens College, City University, New York and is a certified public accountant.
Matt Laurino is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Structured Products and Fund Finance Team. In his role, Matt is a member of the Structured Products Team where he co-leads the team’s capital markets effort and has a primary focus on securitized private credit formation and execution. Based in New York, Matt spearheads the firm’s Private Credit CLO business and has a key focus on structuring other structured credit transactions including structured insurance solutions, warehouse lines, and other capital markets transactions.
Before joining Blue Owl in 2019, Matt was a Deputy Portfolio Manager and Structurer at UNTL Capital LLC, a macro product focused managed account fund. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in its Global Capital Markets Division where he started his career as an Analyst in its Derivative Origination and Solutions Group.
Matt received a BA in Finance from Villanova University and MBA from Cornell University.
Tola Lawal is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on investments in broadly syndicated non-investment grade leveraged loans within the chemical and energy sectors.
Before joining Blue Owl, Tola was a Credit Analyst at Littlejohn & Co., a middle-market private equity fund based in Greenwich, CT. Prior to that, he was a Research Analyst at Covenant Credit Partners. Tola began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan in the Corporate Finance Advisory Group.
Tola received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
James Lee is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Institutional Business Development Asia. In his role, he focuses on capital raising and fund formation in Asia and overseeing all aspects of the Hong Kong office as the regional hub.
Before joining Blue Owl, James was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ascentium Group Limited which was acquired by Blue Owl to establish its physical presence in Hong Kong. Prior to that, James was a Managing Director and Head of Asia Marketing in the Private Fund Group (“PFG”) at Credit Suisse (Hong Kong) Limited. Prior to PFG, James was a Managing Director in Investor Relations & Business Development at the Blackstone Group Hong Kong Limited and was involved with marketing for various Blackstone fund products, primarily with respect to Korea. Preceding that, James was a Managing Director and Head of Asia Marketing at GSO Capital Partners (“GSO”), Blackstone’s alternative credit platform. Prior to GSO, James was a Managing Director and Head of the Structured Credit Product Group at Citigroup Global Markets Asia in Hong Kong where he was responsible for transaction origination, structuring and marketing. Before joining Citigroup, James was a Director in the Leveraged Finance Group/ Collateralized Debt Obligation Group at Credit Suisse First Boston Inc. ("CSFB"), Hong Kong. James joined CSFB when it acquired Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (“DLJ”) where he was Head of Asia Fixed Income Sales in Hong Kong and Co-Head of International Institutional Fixed Income Sales in New York. Prior to joining DLJ, James was a Vice President in International Institutional Fixed Income Sales at Lehman Brothers Inc in New York. James began his career as a Vice President in International Institutional Fixed Income Sales at Kidder, Peabody & Co in New York.
James received his BA in Economics and Japanese Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
Jeremy Lee is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the growth of the firm’s Credit platform acting as a conduit between the direct lending investment team and global private wealth distribution channel. Before joining Blue Owl, Jeremy was a Director at BlackRock. Jeremy began his career as a Product Strategist in the Global Credit – Leveraged Finance Business also at BlackRock.
Jeremy received his BS in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance and Management, cum laude, from Ithaca College.
Michele Lee is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. Based in New York, she is focused on the day-to-day loan operations in the direct lending platform.
Before joining Blue Owl, Michele was a Director at Guggenheim Partners, a global investment and advisory firm. Prior to that, she was a Personal Banker at JPMorgan Chase. Michele began her career as a Financial Representative at AXA Equitable in the retirement planning services department.
Michele received a BS in Business Administration with a minor in International Studies from University of Connecticut.
Robert Lee is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Chief Technology Officer. Based in New York, he is focused on the firm’s overall technology strategy including digital transformation, cybersecurity, business analytics, and infrastructure.
Before joining Blue Owl, Robert was the Chief Technology Officer at Clayton Dubilier & Rice, a global private equity firm based in New York. Prior to that, he was the Chief Information Offer at the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing and Merchant Banking Partners. Previously, Robert had various roles at Credit Suisse including the Chief Information Officer for DLJ Merchant Banking Partners.
Robert received an MBA from New York University and a BE in Electrical Engineering from Cooper Union.
