Machal Karim is a Principal at Blue Owl and the Head of Environmental, Social & Governance. In her role, she leads Blue Owl's Responsible Investing mandate for both corporate and investment activities.

Before joining Blue Owl, Machal was a Manager in the Impact Team at British International Investment (formerly CDC Group plc.) based out of London. Prior to that, she worked at LeapFrog Investments in impact investing, and at Oxford Policy Management in financial and private sector development. Machal began her career working with the United Nations Capital Development Fund in New York and then at MasterCard Foundation in Toronto.

Machal received her BA in International Development from the University of Toronto and her MPA with a concentration in Applied Economics from Cornell University.

Shabbir Karim is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the firm’s Direct Lending Private Credit Business.

Prior to joining Blue Owl in 2022, Shabbir was a Vice President at Strategic Value Partners, where he served as a Controller in the Fund Accounting Group and was responsible for the accounting and reporting for various Alternative Investment Funds. Prior to that, Shabbir was a Senior Manager at PwC, where he worked within the Financial Services practice specializing in audits of alternative investment funds.

Shabbir received a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut.

Brendan Kelly is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Business Services Platform. As part of the Corporate Strategy & M&A advisory practice, he is focused on advising GP Strategic Capital Partner Managers on a wide array of strategic growth and product development initiatives.

Before joining Blue Owl, he was a Partner at White Oak Equity Partners, where he led origination and execution of GP stake investments. Prior to White Oak, Brendan was an Equity Partner and Vice President at Berkshire Global. Before Berkshire Global, he was a member of the New Investments Team at Affiliated Managers Group (AMG). Brendan began his career at Lehman Brothers in the Investment Management Division.

Brendan received a BA from Middlebury College with a focus in Economics. He also received an MBA with a focus in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors as a Palmer Scholar.

Krista Kerr is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Real Estate Investment Team. In her role, Krista is focused on the Seeding and Strategic Capital (SASC) platform where she is responsible for manager sourcing, due diligence, reporting, investor relations, and portfolio management, and is a member of the SASC valuation committee.

Before joining Blue Owl, Krista was an Investment Analyst at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) on the pension plan’s $2 billion Emerging Manager Program, where she was responsible for underwriting small and emerging managers across private equity, real estate, hedge fund, and long-only strategies, and served as the communication liaison for the TRS investment division.

Krista received a BS from the University of Texas at Austin. Currently, Krista spearheads the biennial Real Estate Emerging Manager Summit, an interactive conference providing support and networking for early-stage real estate emerging managers, and is involved in other various investment and real estate-specific industry specifications.

Andrew Kim is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on underwriting and monitoring investments across a variety of industries.

Before joining Blue Owl, Andrew was a Senior Associate at The Carlyle Group. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Oaktree Capital Management. Andrew began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Jefferies & Company.

Andrew received his BSc in Commerce and Economics from the University of Virginia.

Jeong Kim is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Business Services Platform. In her role, Jeong is part of the Capital Strategy practice providing fundraising advisory and client development support to GP Strategic Capital Partner Managers. She is responsible for managing relationship with institutional investors, private wealth management platforms, family offices and consultants in Asia Pacific.

Before joining Blue Owl, Jeong was a member of the Investor Relations team at HarbourVest Partners, focusing on institutional marketing and client services. Prior to that, she held similar Investor Relations roles at PAG, an alternative investment firm based in Hong Kong, and Macquarie Asset Management. Jeong began her career as an Analyst at Cogent Partners, Greenhill's Secondary Capital Advisory team.

Jeong received a BS in Economics with a concentration in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is native in Korean.

Nicole Klotz is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In her role, she oversees relationships across multiple wealth channels in the Great Lakes Region.

Prior to her role at Blue Owl, she was a Managing Director on the US Wealth team at the London-based hedge fund Man Group and a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley focused on providing Alternative Investment solutions for High Net Worth investors.

Nicole graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN with a focus in Pre-Law and Business Spanish. She has also studied in both Chiapas, Mexico and Madrid, Spain in various Study Abroad programs.

Before joining Blue Owl in 2017, Daniel was a Senior Audit Associate at Deloitte and Touche, where he focused primarily on financial service industries.

Daniel received a BS in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Scranton.

Karin Kringen is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In her role, she focuses on providing legal advice relating to capital markets/financing, SEC reporting, corporate governance and investor relations.

Before joining Blue Owl, Karin was in-house capital markets counsel at Wells Fargo, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. Karin began her career as an Associate at Milbank LLP.

Karin received her JD from the University of Michigan Law School and holds a BA in Economics and Government, cum laude, from Smith College.

Ken Kroszner is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In his role, he is responsible for structured credit investing and liquid credit financing.

Before joining Blue Owl, Ken was a member of the performing credit team at Littlejohn & Co. as a structured credit portfolio manager. Prior to that, he was responsible for managing CLO tranche investments and CMBS analysis at Bayview Asset Management. Ken began his career at Royal Bank of Scotland where he published securitized credit research and assisted in the origination and trading of CLOs.

Ken received his BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
