Jeffrey Tynik is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on trading and investing in broadly syndicated non-investment grade leveraged loans.
Before joining Blue Owl, Jeffrey was a Senior Credit Analyst and Loan Trader of the performing leveraged loan business at Littlejohn & Co. Prior to that, he was a Credit Analyst at Redan Park Asset Management and Doral Leveraged Asset Management.
Jeffrey received his BA in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University.
Pravin Vazirani is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he serves as the Co-Head of Portfolio Management for the Technology Investing strategy and is a member of the Technology Investing Investment Committee.
Prior to Blue Owl, Pravin was a Managing Director with Menlo Ventures. While at Menlo Ventures, Pravin focused on investments in the SaaS, cloud and ecommerce sectors. Pravin’s prior investments include Poshmark (IPO: POSH); Carbonite (IPO: CARB); Pillpack (acquired by Amazon), Centrality Communications (acquired by SiR F Holdings); EdgeCast Networks (acquired by Verizon); Credant Technologies (acquired by Dell); Like.com (acquired by Google); newScale (acquired by Cisco Systems); and UserZoom (exited position). Pravin's current investments include Toast, Remitly, SalesLoft, CircleCI, Exabeam, Nuvemshop, Arctic Wolf and 6sense. Pravin started his career as an engineer working at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Later, Pravin worked for Pacific Communication Sciences and ADC Telecommunications as a product manager.
Pravin holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.
Colin Vick is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Business Development Team. In his role, Colin focuses on North American institutions and consultants.
Before joining Blue Owl, Colin was a Director at GoldenTree Asset Management, a credit firm based in New York, where he worked with U.S. and Canadian institutions and family offices. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Blackstone in the Hedge Funds Solutions Group (BAAM).
Colin received his BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
Tim Walsh is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Business Development Team. In his role, he focuses on working with institutional investors across the suite of Blue Owl funds.
Before joining Blue Owl, Tim was President and Chief Operating Officer at Gaw Capital Partners U.S. Preceding Gaw, he served as Chief Investment Officer for the $75 billion State of New Jersey Pension Fund, prior to which he was the Chief Investment Officer of the $8 billion Indiana State Teachers’ Retirement Fund.
Tim received a BS in Business Management from Merrimack College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Jeff Walwyn is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role as Co-Head of Underwriting, he oversees the day-to-day underwriting of diversified investments.
Before joining Blue Owl in 2017, Jeff was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners where he focused on evaluating credit investments. Prior to that, Jeff was a Principal at Apollo Global Management in the Credit Group in New York. Prior to those roles, he held positions in credit underwriting at Gulf Stream Asset Management and in Investment Banking at JPMorgan.
Jeff received a BA in Applied Economics and Management, summa cum laude, from Cornell University and an MBA with honors from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
David Willemin is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. Based in Short Hills, NJ, he is focused on the accounting, finance, financial reporting, and internal controls functions for the Blue Owl BDCs.
Before joining Blue Owl, David was a Senior Vice President of Internal Audit Finance at Citibank. Prior to that, he was an Accounting Associate at Fir Tree Partners. David began his career as a Senior Assurance Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Alternatives group.
David received a BS in Finance and Accountancy, magna cum laude, from Villanova University.
Patrick Willis is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, Patrick serves as the Head of US Private Wealth Strategic Partnerships, leading the group responsible for managing the firm’s strategic distribution partnerships and platforms across Blue Owl’s US private wealth business.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Patrick served in various fund management and distribution roles at CNL Financial Group across multiple product verticals. Prior to joining CNL, Patrick was Director of Finance for Core Realty, Inc.
Patrick received a B.A. in English and Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania, magna cum laude, with Distinction in Philosophy, and a Certificate in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Patrick currently sits on the board of the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives (“IPA”), where he serves on the finance and compensation committee. Patrick maintains Series 7, Series 24, and Series 63 registrations.
John Wilson is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Chief Operating Officer, Institutional Business Development. Before joining Blue Owl John was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Prior to that, he spent most of his career at PIMCO in roles including Head of US Institutional Business, Head of Australia and Head of Global Consultant Relations. John began his career as a lawyer at Shearman & Sterling in New York.
John holds a BA and LLB from the University of Melbourne, MA from the University of New England and an LLM from Duke University.
John is a director of Queensland Treasury Corp, director of Ord Minnett and an Advisor to Brighter Super. He has previously been a director of QIC, LGIA Super, Eithad Stadium Melbourne, Rugby Australia, a Trustee of the University of New England Foundation and Chairman of the Investment Committee at the NSW ALC.
Shari Withem is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In her role, Shari serves as the Co-Chief Accounting Officer of OBDC II, OBDC III, OCIC and OTIC, and as the Co-Treasurer and Co-Controller of each of the Blue Owl BDCs.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Shari was Vice President of Sixth Street Specialty Lending, Inc. (formerly TPG Specialty Lending, Inc.), a business development company traded on the NYSE (TSLX), where she was responsible for accounting, financial reporting, treasury and internal controls functions. Preceding that role, Ms. Withem worked for MCG Capital Corporation, a business development company formerly traded on the Nasdaq (MCGC) and Deloitte in the Audit and Assurance Practice.
Shari received a BS in Accounting from James Madison University and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia.
Kirsten Wright is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. Kirsten serves as a Controller for the Business Development Companies (BDCs).
Prior to joining Blue Owl in 2017, Kirsten was a Senior Audit Associate at Crowe Horwath, where she focused primarily on financial service industries.
Kirsten received a BS in Accounting from The College of New Jersey and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey.
