Chris Nilan is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Real Estate Investment Team. In this role, Chris is responsible for the origination, evaluation, and execution of investments for Blue Owl's real estate platform.

Chris has spent 15+ years in various investing and financial roles. Prior to joining Blue Owl, Chris spent over a decade working for Sam Zell at Equity Group Investments and numerous related portfolio companies. In that role he originated and monitored private and public equity investments and served on the boards of portfolio companies. Chris also worked as an investment banker at Bank of America in the leverage finance division.

Chris received a BS in Finance from Wake Forest University.

Mark Nixdorf is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In his role, he focuses on providing legal counsel in connection with the firm’s investments, fund formation and strategic transactions.

Before joining Blue Owl, Mark was a Vice President and Senior Counsel at Goldman Sachs Asset Management where he was responsible for covering alternative investment strategies including private credit, renewable power and growth equity. He also advised Goldman Sachs Asset Management on strategic acquisitions. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Allen & Overy LLP and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Mark began his career as a Senior Associate at KPMG LLP.

Mark received his JD from Brooklyn Law School and holds a BS in Accounting from Tulane University.

Darragh O'Flaherty is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on investments in the Technology sector, including both traditional direct lending and growth equity.

Before joining Blue Owl, Darragh was an investor with Guggenheim Partners, a global asset manager, where he was also focused on investing in the Technology sector. Prior to that, he was an investment analyst at Allied Irish Banks, New York. Darragh began his career as the founder of Medibill.ie, a software business he developed to help automate medical billing for physicians in Ireland.

Darragh received a BSc in Business Information Systems and an MBS in Corporate Strategy, both from the University of Galway, Ireland as well as an MSc in Finance, from the Smurfit Business School, UCD, Ireland.

Derek O’Leary is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and Global Head of Private Wealth. In his role, he leads the wealth business across regions to bring the full breadth of Blue Owl’s Credit, GP Strategic Capital, and Real Estate platforms to financial advisors and their high-net-worth clients. Derek oversees the wealth business and leadership team across product development, capital raising, distribution and sales, strategic partnerships, client servicing, and marketing. Derek is one of the founding employees of Blue Owl Capital in 2021, he previously built and lead the private wealth channel at Owl Rock, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Credit platform.

Prior to joining Owl Rock in 2016, Derek served as President of CION Securities, the dealer manager for CION Investment Corporation, a non-traded business development company sub-advised by Apollo Investment Management. Before joining CION Securities, Derek spent over a decade in the asset management business with Merrill Lynch, Salomon Brothers Asset Management and Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Derek holds a BA from Seton Hall University. He resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and has 3 children.

Mark O'Sullivan is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the GP Strategic Capital Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on underwriting equity and financing transactions and managing GP Strategic Capital Investment Team's ongoing relationships with its partner managers.

Before joining Blue Owl, Mark was a Managing Director at Dyal Capital Partners within Neuberger Berman. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President in the Corporate Development group at Lehman Brothers. Prior to that, he was a Senior Engagement Manager at Oliver Wyman, a management consulting firm focused on the financial services industry. Mark began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Merrill Lynch.

Mark currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Pastoralist Child Foundation, a nonprofit committed to the advocacy against, and the intervention and prevention of female genital mutilation (FGM) and child marriage by providing support services, education, scholarships and enrichment programs.
 
Mark received his MS in Financial Management from Nyenrode University and holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Technical College Delft.

Natalie Oelkers is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Business Development Team. In her role, she works with institutional investors across the suite of Blue Owl funds.

Before joining Blue Owl in 2017, Natalie was a Managing Director at Paulson & Co in New York. Prior to that, she was a Director of Marketing at GoldenTree Asset Management in their New York and London offices. Natalie began her career at Citigroup Alternative Investments, where she was a Vice President of Marketing and Client Services for the Funds of Hedge Funds team.

Natalie received a BA in Economics from Duke University.

Simon Ogden is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In his role, he focuses on Investment Advisory and Corporate Compliance.

Before joining Blue Owl, Simon was a Compliance Officer at Trian Fund Management, L.P., a multi-billion-dollar investment management firm based in New York. Prior to that, he was a Director of Compliance at Barings LLC, where he began his career at a predecessor organization.

Simon received his MBA from Quinnipiac University and holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from College of Charleston. Simon is also a CFA charterholder.

Alexander Olsen is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Business Services Platform. As a part of the Capital Strategy practice providing fundraising advisory and client development support to GP Strategic Capital Partner Managers, he is responsible for managing relationships with West Coast intsitutional investors and US family offices and RIAs.

Before joining Blue Owl, Alexander worked at Bloomberg LP, where he covered public pensions, reporting on their private equity and hedge fund allocations. Before Bloomberg Alex worked at The Mount Vernon Group. He began his career at RedPoint Capital.

Alexander received a BA in Liberal Arts from Villanova University.

Opeyemi Oyekanmi is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the executives overseeing the finance, accounting, financial reporting, internal control, investment and investor operations functions.

Before joining Blue Owl, Opeyemi was a Director at The Siegfried Group, LLP, a national accounting firm. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Fund Accountant at Lubert-Adler Real Estate Funds, an institutional real estate investment manager. Opeyemi began his career as an External Auditor at KPMG.

Opeyemi received his BBA in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Temple University and he currently holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in Pennsylvania and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) .

Jackie Palermo is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In her role, she focuses on accounting and operations for the Direct Lending Private Credit Business.

Prior to joining Blue Owl in 2019, Jackie was an Assistant Vice President at Anchorage Capital Group, LLC., a distressed credit-focused investment advisor based in New York City. Prior to that, Jackie was a Senior Associate at KPMG LLP in the Audit - Investment Management Group.

Jackie received her MA in Mathematics and MS in Accounting from University of Albany and holds a BA, cum laude, in Mathematics with a concentration in Economics from Union College. Jackie is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York.
